WHAT WE DID
During the most important period for Muslim charities, Ramadan, we brought automated giving to life with MyTenNights. But differently.
We didn't exclusively choose the usual micro or mega influencers. Instead, we also chose the nano-est of nano influencers, Instagram businesses and even ordinary people!
Why?
We know how influential people can be within their personal networks, whether it is family and friends or a small fan following. A recommendation from them could mean real support for those who really need it. Every penny and pound is incredibly useful in changing lives.
How did we do it?
Firstly, we had individual fundraiser pages created for each person participating in the campaign. (They were for every creator to share with everyone they know)
Then we asked every creator to post a personalised poster (with their logo or picture inserted into it) on their Instagram feed and Story, with a link to our MyTenNights fundraising page. But here's the twist.
They had to post within a specific timeframe. This generated a ‘thunderclap’ moment for 2 hours, where Salam Charity was seemingly everywhere!
What did we achieve?
An insane reach of 10 million+, helped by major global Islamic music stars and influencers, over 25,000 views on the fundraising page within a few hours, over £200,000 raised and great positive feedback from the senior team and influencers themselves!
